Al Malikat
Al Malikat dance troupe are 4 dancers that are trained and managed by Juliana Brustik. They dance Egyptian folk and Baladi styles at various festivals, private events and showcases.

Small World Bellydancers
Small World dancers Emelie, Xanthe, Amy and Audrey, students at Small World Centre in Brixton, are performing an experimental piece choreographed by Anna Kemper. Originally the dance was performed by 8 dancers at the Brixton Summer Hafla 2011. Set to Suhaila Salimpour's song "Wild Winds", the title of this dance is "Midnight in the Garden of the Faeries".
Aqila Farashah
Trained in drama and theatre, I have studied many forms of dance and earned my Equity card in an acting/singing role at the English National Opera. Since I took up Middle-Eastern dance in 2004 I have little passion for anything else and have studied extensively with diverse teachers: have attended regular classes with Josephine Wise, Anne White, and Ozgen, and workshops with Ozgen, Serena and Hossam Ramzy, Melanie Norman, Vashti, Nesrin Topkapi, Rachel Brice, Carolena Nericcio, Princess Farhana, Jillina, Sadie, Razia and many others. I am constantly learning and am excited by how many new things there are to learn in this range of dance styles!
Desiree
Venezuelan born Desire, is one of the youngest new belly dancers in London; she has been practising the art of belly dance since discovering her passion for modern Egyptian style while taking classes with Eva Green. She has a background of 7 years Ballet and 3 years flamenco training, which enables her to combine the two styles with her Latin
roots, creating a soft classical touch as well as a feminine sensual power of her unique belly dance style on her performances. During her training she taken classes and workshops with many master teachers of the Egyptian dance. As a new dancer, Desire continuous learning and doing workshops with some of the greatest teachers, developing her technique as performer and enrich her personal growth as a dancer.
Some of her performing credit includes BBC Don't tell the bride show, Comedy Night show, London Belly dance Meet up summer event, Sahara nights among many others events. This is Fifi's second time performing for us!
Fifi is originally from Australia, where she discovered the beauty of Middle Eastern dance arts. She has continued her dance journey in London, and performs regularly as a soloist. She's been lucky enough to study with some of the top teachers in London, including Shafeek Ibrahim and Michaella Sandor.

Sureya
Sureya has been practicing Belly Dance for over two years and is currently a student of the inspiring London based teacher, Melissa Pina. She has started to choreograph her own routines and has recently performed at the London Turkish Festival. Her styles include Modern Egyptian, Turkish and she is passionate about fusions such as Belly-Hip Hop and Tribal. She continues to study this mixture of styles to become creative with routines and to further develop her technique. She has a soft spot for drum solos and is looking forward to performing at Hafla on the Hill for the first time.
Raqs Jamila
Originally founded a decade ago, Raqs Jamila was born out of a desire to share the joy of belly dancing with non-traditional audiences. Using approachable styles of dance and costumes, Raqs Jamila bring family-friendly performances to street festivals, haflas and community events across London. They’re known for audience participation, using catchy tunes and teaching simple steps to get the public shimmying across the streets with them, and they’ve gained a loyal following over the years, with many repeat bookings.
Candan Mills
Candan is a Turkish-born, London based Dancer. Bellydance has always been part of her culture. Over the last few years she has established herself, as part of the Bellydance community performing at many Haflas throughout the country, as well as private parties and Corporate shows.
She has trained under some of the leading International teachers, including Anne White, Ozgen, Aylin Hansen, Kimberley McCoy, Jo Wise and Nesrin Topkapi.
Candan performs in a variety of styles, including Turkish Oriental, Romany Gypsy and Egyptian.
