Sunny Snake boy
Sunny (aka Snake Boy) has been dancing and performing for the past 11 years. Most of his free time is spend perfecting his dance technique and routines. His distinctive style is a collaboration of belly dancing and Bollywood with West Indian influences. He performs regularly at various venues in London and is also involved in costume design and tailoring. He is available for performances and classes on request.
Delilah
Delilah is an award winning belly dancer, well known for her trademark shimmies and fluid Egyptian style. Predominantly self taught, Delilah began learning from video clips before being mentored by Shafeek Ibrahim.
Nardine Baraka
Nardine fell in love with Arabic dance and music after seeing Soraya Hilal and the Musicians of the Nile many years ago. She has studied with Juliana Brustick, Anne White and lately with Michaela Sandor. She has visited Egypt several times where she sorely tried the patience of her husband shopping for costumes or running off to see where the music was coming from. She has performed at Planet Egypt, Saqarah and Samira's Shimmy Nites and local haflas in East London where she is based.
Hayaam Bellydance
Hayaam is a natural and talented belly dance teacher and artist. Born in Brazil, Hayaam specialises in Egyptian dance, characterized by a great variety of strong shimmies, charming and graceful movements.
The BabyBliss Girls
BabyBliss Girls are a group of 5 dancers as seen on channel 4's 5 O'clock show, founded and directed by Melissa Pina. The girls have had a crazy last few months performing at Movida, for Sadie Frost, Pink Aerobics and more! This group of dancers have created an entirely new level when it comes to belly dance and fusion with elements of hiphop, samba, traditional, and urban tribal to name but a few of their abilities, and are well known for pushing the boundaries and challenging the belly dance scene.
Darkstar
Specialising in tribal fusion and dark fusion bellydance, Darkstar has performed extensively winning rave reviews for her individual style, choreography and costuming. She is a resident dancer for ‘Firewater’ London’s foremost tribal belly dance show.
Melissa
Melissa is both a trained dancer & a belly dancer with a unique style that has the reputation of mesmerising all who see her. She is well known for her charisma, energy & passion. Melissa has performed for artists such as Alabina Ishtar, Des-c & Punjabi MC, for the Asian Music Awards, Nike, & has appeared on BBC2's Strictly Come Dancing It Takes 2 & BBC3’s Don't Tell the Bride. Melissa teaches belly dance levels 1-4, And the exclusive belly dance hiphop, tahitian belly dance fusion, and brazilian belly dance samba courses as well as urban tribal, belly ballet and latin fusion.
