Zafirah has been studying Middle Eastern Dance since 1998. She specialises in the subtle, yet strong and graceful Modern Egyptian Style of Belly dance. She is particularly known for her polished precision and wholehearted passion for the dance. Her commitment to the roots of the dance, while continuously studying with some of the greatest current dancers in Egypt , has allowed her continue developing her own ever-evolving style. Her mentors over the years have included Pauline Sayhi, Lorna Gow and Shafeek Ibrahim.
Mikaela
Mikaela started her journey of dance in 1996. She performed for 7 years in every restaurant requiring a bellydancer in gothenburg, at many weddings and birthday celebrations. Mikaela taught the art of

Kay is a passionate choreographer, performer and teacher. She is the founder of Love the Beat School of Dance - a school which spreads a Love of music through various forms of dancing such as belly dancing, bollywood dancing and street dancing. Kay is a qualified fitness instructor and often teaches dance cardio and dance funk at local gyms - and is also now a qualified Zumba instructor - bringing Latin party vibes to women in North and North West London. Mahira is a Semi professional dance group run by Melissa Pina, also the director of Melissa Belly Dance and the BabyBliss Girls. Mahira train weekly and love to experiment with belly dance fusions of various styles. Mahira is made up of advanced level students who have a passion for performing and expressing themselves through the art of dance and belly dance alike.
Ariadna
Ariadna started belly dancing in the Ukraine back in 2005 where she trained with one of the best teachers, Amira Abdi. After moving to London in 2007 she had began training with Reshma Rose who helped her to develop her dancing skills further including using Zills. She was introduced to the Turkish style of belly dance by male belly dancer Ozgen. Ariadna is extremely passionate about belly dancing and is developing her own personal style of dancing combining the skills gained from great teachers and bringing in her own creativity and passion to it. Ariadna performs regularly at various venues and event across London.

BRIXTONAMAR is delighted to participate & support the good causes chosen by Dunya. As the name indicates they’re a South London based troupe. They’ve been active on the community events‘ circuit for over a year, and dance in a number of formations, but tonight it’s three of them, Éva, Rachel & Katie who’s an anti-podean gem of a bellydancer. They’ll be dancing two folk style routines from Egypt via Australia, a stick and a drum solo, and a cheeky Natasha Atlas number by Éva. "my brain is fuzzy, my heart is dizzy, dizzy".
This will be Tina's second appearance at Hafla on the Hill. Tina Shaw is the founder of ‘Belly Dance Aerobics’. As a qualified gym instructor and traditional Belly Dancer, Tina has combined the two genres to create an exercise class, which combines familiar aerobic routines with belly dance moves to create a dynamic workout. Tina has performed at Claridges, Café Royal and The Ritz in London. The Casino San Remo in Italy, El Divinos & The Ku Club (Privilege) in Ibiza, “The Leading Hotels of the World” in Delhi & Calcutta as well as numerous venues around Europe.
